JOB SUMMARY
Performs basic research duties under the supervision/direction of a Principal Investigator.
A Post-Doctoral Fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Chih-Chi Andrew Hu with a focus on Cancer, Immunology, Cell signaling, and Drug Discovery. This position focuses on the study of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER)-associated stress signaling molecules and their roles in survival and chemoresistance of B cell malignancies.A key component of this effort will be to identify and develop small molecules and peptides that target the ER stress response pathways to treat cancer in preclinical mouse models. We are especially interested in candidates who are in the final stage of their doctoral training and have a strong background and experience in performing tumor transplantation studies, assays such as FACS, ELISA, and ELISPOT as well as other routine molecular biological and biochemical analyses.
