Postdoctoral Fellow on Neural Reprogramming and Regeneration

One fully funded postdoctoral position is immediately available, in the laboratory ofChun-Li Zhang, Ph.D.,Department of Molecular Biology, to examine neural reprogramming and regeneration after brain and spinal cord injury. Both genetic, epigenetic, and chemical approaches will be applied. TheZhanglaboratory is well equipped for both in vitro and in vivo studies in modern neuroscience. The successful candidate will also benefit from exceptional core facilities and a very collaborative environment. UT Southwestern is the home of 6 Nobel Laureates, 22 members of the National Academy of Sciences, and 18 members of the National Academy of Medicine.
Self-motivated individuals with a Ph.D. degree and solid publication records are encouraged to apply. Candidates with experience in molecular biology and electrophysiology are preferred.
