Postdoc Position in Structural and Functional
Characterization of Key Multi-protein Complexes
in Transcription and Repair
A postdoc position, supported by NIH funding, is available in the lab of Dong Wang at University of California, San Diego.
Out research focuses on the interplay between two fundamental processes: transcription and DNA repair. Current research projects focus on the X-ray and CryoEM structural elucidation and functional/biochemical study of macromolecular proteinnucleic acid complexes involved in transcription, chromatin remodeling, and DNA repair. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with experiences in biochemistry, and molecular biology, X-ray crystallography, or CryoEM. Candidates must have at least one original first author publication in the related field in an internationally cognized journal.
