Research Interest
Protein ubiquitination and deubiquitination plays diverse roles in signaling transduction, development, immunity and inflammation. Dr. Zhong’s lab works on ubiquitination and deubiqutination process during innate antiviral immune and inflammatory responses and tumorigenesis. His lab focuses on E3 ligases and deubiquitinases that regulate virus-triggered immune signaling and elucidates the mechanisms with gene-knockout mice and the related disease models.
